15 reasons to avoid London in summer at all costs

07/08/15 – Sunsets & Bubbles

PLAY ME…

1- It’s too grey…

2- It rains a hell of a lot…

3- Worst sunsets ever…

4- There’s no beach…

5- There’s no rhythm…

6- You may end up eating something terrible like this…

7- Or like this…

8- Or even worse! Like this…

9- Far too many people…

10- Too urban…

11- No green areas…

12- Who wants to hang out by the river…

13- Or by a canal…

14- Or in a rooftop…

15- Honestly, it’s just boring… much better finding somewhere else…

Bottom line…

Does it rain in London in summer? Yes, occasionally…

Does it get cold over summer months? Not really, but I still get to sleep with my duvet all summer long, which I really love…

Does it have more cloudy days than any other European island? Probably not more than Iceland, but definitely more than the Mykonos or Ibiza…

But, hey… We don’t care…! London offers a superb urban summer… There are lots of warm sunny days and the offer of cool new places to go to, pathways to trek around and get lost exploring, parties, festivals, open-airs, gigs, theatres, restaurants, markets, neighbourhoods, canals and anything that can cross your mind, is limitless!

If you haven’t visited London in summer yet, get your google calendar out, check out some dates and things you may not want to miss and pencil in your next weekend break in town… You will not regret it, guaranteed! ; )
