If you’re a regular follower of Sunsets & Bubbles, you probably have noticed by now that I tend to do regular mentions to yoga and its blisses, quite especially on social media or with posts like this one “Yoga: Bliss for your Body, Mind & Soul“, from a few months back.
I will start posting more and more about yoga related topics, as I will be taking my own yoga practice into a deeper stage by joining a Yoga Teacher Training Programme next May, very exciting times!
I will try to make it quite light on my approach a) because I am not knowledgable enough -at least not just yet!- to do it any other way ; ) and b) because my intention with these posts is for everyone interested in improving their lifestyle on a physical and on an emotional level, to have some tools and little tips to do so, regardless how much or how little or nothing they are into fitness, yoga, healthy habits, etc.
On this series of “5 ways Yoga will make you the happiest you’ve ever been”, I will break it down to 5 weekly posts, and here’s the first one for you take on. I genuinely hope you enjoy them & any questions, please leave your comments or drop me a line!
1/5 – BALANCE – By practicing balance in your body, you will start practicing balance in your mind too.
In other words, do you ever feel like you’re on a roller coaster of emotions? Like you get up feeling great, then you spill some coffee on your top, don’t get the text you were expecting or miss your train by 30 secs, and all of the sudden all the feeling great vibe, gets taken over by an overwhelming feeling of “My life is over” type of thing? Lol, I know, I’m being dramatic, but you know what I mean… –
Practicing yoga will help you being more balanced and less stressed about any situation, so that you can have a less up & down journey through your day – at the end of the day, it’s the journey what matters, not the destination, isn’t it? ; )
